We are a two site mixed animal practice based in rural Aberdeenshire, first established in 1996. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinary surgeons and nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.
Annie joined our team in November 2018. Annie was previously the Manager and Director of a limited company in the early years childcare sector and has over 20 years teaching experience. As well as her leadership and management experience Annie graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor in Music (Honours) and gained a postgraduate certificate in primary teaching at the University of Aberdeen in 2016.
When not working she spends time with her husband, son and rescue Greyhound Sandy. Annie enjoys walking Sandy and playing the piano.
Zoe is one of our receptionists who is also responsible for assisting the vets with dispensing medication and stock control. Zoe has over 10 years experience dispensing pharmacy medication and over 15 years customer service. Zoe joined our team in November 2018 and is based at the Turriff practice.
Zoe enjoys meeting all your lovely pets and can’t resist popping out to say hello! Zoe has two gorgeous cats called Dusty and Dexter.
Margaretann is one of our Receptionists who joined us in December 2018. She is mainly based at Macduff although you will also see her at the Turriff practice too. Margaretann spent 8 years in the Royal Air Force as a Communications Operator, worked as a NHS medical receptionist, was an Assistant with the PDSA and more recently worked as a Residential Social Care Worker in Fife. Margaretann has lovely Layla who is a Rough Collie.
Tara is one of our receptionists at the Turriff practice. Tara worked for BP as the mailroom supervisor before joining us here in October 2018. Tara’s dad was a farmer so she’s always had a special interest in animals, especially cattle (Lincoln Reds). Tara has a dog called Skye who she re-homed and she also has three cats who just appeared at her door (one was just four weeks old!) and they all ended up staying! Out with work Tara enjoys baking and cross stitch.
Ashleigh studied Administration and Technology at Moray College in Elgin and graduated in 2016. Ashleigh is a full time Receptionist and has since been promoted to an administrator, working with the practice manager.
Outside of work Ashleigh enjoys working on the family farm and working with her horses that she has had from a very young age. She has three dogs Jay, Tweenie and Gin. Ashleigh is also a qualified Konga Instructor
Debbie is a receptionist at our Macduff practice and has been with Deveron Vets since 2014.
