
Dr Stephanie Walker BVMS MRCVS BA
Stephanie graduated from the University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 with commendation. Stephanie is originally from Dundee but moved to Texas when she was younger. She missed Scotland so much that she decided to move back! Stephanie is a Mixed Animal Vet and is particularly interested in all things equine-related. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys horse-riding and going hikes with her partner and two dogs, Loki and Miah.

Deborah Collings BVSc BSc MRCVS
Clinical Director
Deborah was raised in Connecticut, USA. She graduated from the University of Liverpool Veterinary School in July 1993. She joined our team as Clinical Director in April 2018. Deborah has worked as a Small and Large Animal Veterinarian throughout Scotland for most of her career and has a keen interest in small animal medicine. Her main hobby is TREC orienteering on horseback and she was placed fifth in the British Championships in 2009.
When not working Deborah spends her weekends at home on the West Coast of Scotland helping her husband with a flock of Scottish Blackface sheep and riding her pony Rose.

Mauro Larghi BVMS, MVS and MRCVS
Mauro qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2004 and joined our team in 2018. Mauro has worked in many different countries over the years; he has worked with beef herds and polo horses in Argentina, Spanish fighting bulls in Spain, dairy cows and thoroughbreds in Ireland, mixed animal practice in Jersey, and farm and equine practice in Cornwall.
Mauro has a particular interest in herd health, recently publishing a paper on BVD control, as well as equine fertility work. Mauro lives with his wife and daughter.

Victoria Hewitt BVSc MRCVS
Vicky qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1992 and worked in mixed practice in West Yorkshire. Whilst on holiday in Aberdeenshire in 1997 Vicky fell in love with the area and moved here in 1998 with her two dogs and two cats. Vicky joined our team in 1999 as a mixed practitioner and now works part time, primarily with small animals.
When not working Vicky enjoys swimming, cooking, walking and wildlife. Over the years her pets have been replaced by a husband and two children!

Wendy Sleigh BVMS MRCVS
Wendy qualified in 1990 from the University of Glasgow and joined our team in September 1990. She enjoyed it here so much she never left! She was the first female veterinary surgeon employed by the practice and spent the first decade working as a mixed practitioner, particularly enjoying the challenge of caesareans in cows and sheep. Wendy now specialises in small animals with a special interest in surgery.
Wendy lives on the family farm with her husband and two sons. When not working Wendy enjoys playing golf and is a keen wildlife photographer.

Eilidh Thomson BVMS MRCVS
Eilidh graduated from the University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and has been in our team ever since. Eilidh is a Mixed Animal vet and she is particularly interested in farm animal medicine and is responsible for organising our farmers meetings.
Eilidh lives with her partner on a farm and has one pony, two dogs and one cat. Flo, Eilidh’s lovely rescue Lurcher, is often seen at the practice sleeping in her favourite place, under the reception desk!
